Gejunna (G'Jai) Marlene
Lead vocalist Gejunna (G'Jai) Marlene might be new to the scene but she’s no stranger to the stage. She is a Detroit, MI native and performing has been in her blood from a very early age. Whether its public speaking, dancing, or acting the stage is where she belongs. Gejunna has performed with various bands as a guest vocalist. In 2008 Gejunna decided to form a band where very talented musicians would accompany her bluesy and natural vocal style.
G’JAI’s JOOK JOINT Blues Band was formed to combine the right musical elements to go along with the vocals.
The rest of the story is history in the making.
